Convened by Jessamine Batario through the Colby College Museum of Art’s Lunder Institute for American Art, a group of artists and curators gathered in Maine to inform the artistic development of a future exhibition. The Islands Project centers the creative production of artists with cultural heritage ties to Cuba, Guam, the Philippines, and Puerto Rico.
